It boils down to spawning at base, finding an arsenal box at base to use for gearing up, waiting for a transport (usually helis doing transport runs) and getting yourself safely to an AO. You'll want to hop into any of those game modes and basically just follow the group you sign up with when you first connect and choose your role (autorifleman, grenadier, combat life saver etc.) and hopefully that helps you find your bearings. My personal favourite is Tanoa as the map is a nice, reasonable size for a new player to not feel overwhelmed.
They're listed as coop games.the usual options are I&A on Tanoa (apex), takistan (custom map), altis(vanilla). If so, I'd highly recommend invade & annex multiplayer servers. I assume you're here for tactical Mil-sim fun.
